What can you tell us about the house's location?

The house is located in Mace Meadow about one mile from the Mace Meadow Golf and Country Club (open to the public).  Mace Meadow is a nice, upscale subdivision of Pioneer.

Why isn't the house's address listed on the web site?

A

This is a  precaution designed to protect both the owner's and the guest's privacy.

How do you get there?

A

After the Rental Agreement and payment are received, we email you our "Cabin Orientation" document that has the address amd directions from highway 88 as well as other important information, including a departure checklist.

Do we need to bring our own bed linens and towels?  

A

Bed linens and towels are provided. You may, if you like, bring your own.

What bath items are provided?

A

Toilet paper and hand soap are provided.

What is provided in the kitchen?

A

All cooking and eating utensils are provided including basic seasoning items; salt, pepper. Dishes are done the old-fashioned way, by hand.

What do we do if we find a problem?

A

We provide our phone number in the 'Cabin Orientation' document. You may call us and we will try to help with any problems that arise, i.e.. something not working etc.

We like to watch the birds eating but the feeders are empty.

Regular bird seed and finch thistle feed are kept in the garage in a box to the left of the stoop. Please feel free to fill them

We need groceries, where do we go?

A

Payless Market is about 2 miles away down Hwy 88 on the left.

Is there a hardware store nearby?

A

Warren and Sons hardware is a few block before Payless Market.

What restaurants are nearby?

A

There is a binder containing lots of information about local restaurants.

What condition should we leave the house in?

A

If you've opted to clean it yourselves, it must be left just as you found it.

Do we leave any lights on?

A

Please leave the porch light switch in the up position.  No other lights are necessary.
